API Sales

PayJunction is looking for a rockstar to join our internal sales team. As an inside API Sales representative, you will generate new business by targeting software companies and working with them to integrate our payment and signature capture API into their applications.

This is a full-time, in-house position at our headquarters in stunning Santa Barbara, California.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Take both technical and sales perspectives in every aspect of the job
  • Identify point of sale, shopping cart, account receivable, office management, and accounting software companies that could benefit from integrating our proprietary features
  • Build pipelines and networks of strategic partners and cultivate profitable relationships
  • Generate new business for our RESTful API by partnering with target companies
  • Track performance metrics
  • Provide ongoing market, product, and customer feedback to aid in the evolvement of our product
  • Ultimately, facilitate our goal of simplifying payment processing for consumers

Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field highly preferred
  • Technical knowledge and thorough understanding of API a MUST
  • Quota-bearing SaaS or technology sales experience a MUST
  • Proven ability to effectively develop channel relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication (MUST be comfortable talking on the phone)
  • Desire to fill a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Go-getter attitude and enthusiasm for success
