As Product Manager, you will be the unifying force behind PayJunction's product strategy and execution, combining feedback from sales, marketing, development, customers and prospects to set the strategic vision and lead the execution on new features and products.  This is an important and strategic role within the company, and our expectations are equally high.  The Product Manager will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with development to continue to deliver a remarkable product.  Equally important, this position includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure our product supports our business model and company ethos of constantly innovating.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the overall Product Management process at PayJunction
  • Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, development and the market
  • Manage beta projects, participate in beta program and fulfill all activities related to organizational readiness during the product launch phase
  • Lead our internal process to define the product strategy, roadmap and prioritize
  • Develop requirements, documents and use cases for new product features
  • Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
  • Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features
  • Become an expert on other products in the marketplace
  • Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong web product management background and ability to manage a cross functional team to deliver software releases
  • Strong self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced software development environment
  • Demonstrated ability to bring new product to market in emerging competitive environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
  • Passion for web-based software products
  • Familiar with scrum / kanban / agile development
  • "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial attitude
  • Bachelor degree required in a technical or business related field, MBA or other advanced degree desired
  • Minimum 1-3 years product management experience
