PayJunction is seeking a site reliability engineer to support the infrastructure and services that make PayJunction the leading developer of paperless payment software. As a valued member of our small but mighty engineering team, you will ensure our systems are healthy, automated and secure. Our site reliability engineer will help design, build, maintain and enhance our Level 1 PCI security standard. This position is key to our long-term growth, and this person will work closely with our founders.
The site reliability engineer will learn our unique stack, identify areas for improvement, bring a big picture vision, make recommendations and implement solutions. The ideal candidate for this role eats, breathes and sleeps automation, always has security in mind, and can implement best practices to further our mission. Formal education in computer science or related field allows the site reliability engineer to apply coding principles and best practices to PayJunction's systems, infrastructure and automation initiatives, embodying an 'infrastructure as code' approach. We are looking for a Puppet expert to take our automation initiatives to the next level. We take testing seriously, and believe in an effective and efficient engineering approach that reduces bugs and stress.
This is a full-time, in house position at our Minneapolis, MN office.
