Sr. Product Manager

As sr. product manager, you will be the unifying force behind our product strategy and execution.  You will combine feedback from sales, marketing, development, customers and prospects to set the strategic vision and lead the execution on new features and products.  This is an important and strategic role within the company, and our expectations are equally high. The sr. product manager must be comfortable and willing to work with remote team members to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and work closely with development to continue to deliver a remarkable product.  Equally important, this position includes working with with sales, marketing and customer support to ensure our product reinforces our business model and company ethos of constantly innovating.

This is a full-time, in-house position at our headquarters in sunny Santa Barbara, CA!


At PayJunction you will:

  • Create and manage the overall product management process at PayJunction
  • Deliver value to customers on a bi-weekly basis
  • Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, development and the market
  • Manage beta projects, participate in beta program and fulfill all activities related to organizational readiness during the product launch phase
  • Lead our internal process to define the product strategy, roadmap and prioritize
  • Develop requirements, documents and use cases for new product features
  • Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
  • Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features
  • Become an expert on other products in the marketplace
  • Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company

Skills and requirements:

  • Strong web product management background and ability to manage a cross functional team to deliver software releases
  • Proven experience as a technical product owner
  • Strong self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced software development environment
  • Demonstrated ability to bring new product to market in emerging competitive environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
  • Passion for web-based software products
  • Familiar with scrum / kanban / agile development
  • "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial attitude
  • Bachelor degree required in a technical or business related field, MBA or other advanced degree desired
  • Minimum 2-5 years technical product management experience
