Business Development-Channel Sales Executive

PayJunction is looking for an expert in channel development to join our team. As a business development - channel sales executive you will generate new business by engaging with software companies to form partnerships. This entails working with them to integrate our payment and signature capture solution into their applications in addition to other value add opportunities like co-selling and co-marketing. This role provides an opportunity to become a dynamic player in a tech company that is disrupting an entire industry.

About our API

This is a full-time, in-house position at our headquarters in Santa Barbara, California.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify software companies that could benefit from integrating our proprietary features and generate new business by partnering with these target companies.
  • Build pipelines and networks of strategic partners, cultivate profitable relationships, and present our product in the partnership community.
  • Take ownership of the technical, legal and sales process throughout the selling motion.
  • This role requires the ability to navigate complex deals and shepherd internal and external stakeholders through every step of the customer journey.
  • Negotiate commercial terms/contract negotiation.
  • Provide thought leadership content across multiple platforms and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Track performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing market, product, and customer feedback to aid in the evolution of our product.
  • Maintain accurate records within the various systems used to generate new partnerships and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Collaborate within the channel sales team and cross-functionally.
  • This role must effectively coordinate with various internal and external teams including influencing company priorities and technical roadmaps.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or programming background
  • Passion for technology and software and a desire to become an expert in our product and services a MUST
  • Technical knowledge and thorough understanding of API
  • Quota-bearing SaaS or technology sales experience
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Proven ability to effectively develop channel relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Highly self-motivated and curious
  • Desire to engage with audiences and effectively share knowledge
  • Travel to customer locations and industry events
