Director of Marketing

We are seeking a director of marketing who possesses a deep understanding of the B2B industry.  Our ideal candidate will drive their own ideas forward and foster creativity and growth within their team. Our director of marketing is someone who has been around the B2B industry, knows what works and what doesn't, and is ready to try something new and fail fast when needed.  This position will be responsible for creating and implementing our strategic marketing plan, managing our marketing team and achieving defined and measurable goals for PayJunction. The marketing director is a core position that will be responsible for engaging new customers, expanding existing customers, executing events, and managing content and social media.

Job responsibilities:

  • Guide the day to day activities of the marketing team.
  • Development and implementation of demand generation.
  • Own lead generation across all growth channels including, but not limited to, paid media, email, website, direct mail and webinars.
  • Craft and maintain our core story.
  • Development and implementation of brand strategy.
  • Develop marketing strategy for new and existing products.
  • Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Work closely with the company’s sales team. Enable sales team to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations for marketing team.
  • Ensure that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team.
  • Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
  • Test, track, and evaluate the results of all marketing initiatives to ensure proper use of budget.
  • Assist other departments within organization to prepare content and publications.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration or similar. Master’s degree in marketing or business administration highly desirable.
  • Documented expertise and experience in marketing leadership within B2B model.
  • Previous experience leading a team and fostering their growth and success.
  • Extensive experience with SalesForce and Hubspot.
  • Experienced with marketing program execution.
  • Project management experience.
  • Comfortable with numbers and analysis of campaign metrics (KPI’s).
  • Strong ability to work independently and cooperatively in a cross functional team environment to achieve goals.
  • Excellent creative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Superb time management and appreciation for deadlines.
  • Experience managing vendors and agencies on creative and technology.
