We are seeking a Content Manager to develop and execute a cohesive content strategy that enhances PayJunction brand visibility, engages our target audiences and supports demand generation and overall marketing efforts, while driving measurable growth through content excellence across all platforms. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills and a deep understanding of content marketing best practices.

The Marketing Departments' mission is to drive the growth of our company by increasing awareness of our integrated payments solutions and SaaS platform among potential customers and partners, generating demand for our products and services, and building and maintaining strong partnerships with key industry players.

  • Content Strategy Development: 
    • Develop and refine the overall content strategy, aligning with the company's marketing objectives and target audience personas.
  • Content Creation and Management: 
    • Lead the creation of high-quality content across various channels and formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and social media posts.
  • Content Distribution and Promotion: 
    • Manage the distribution and collaborate with the marketing team on promotion of content across various channels, including the website, social media, email, etc. 
    • Work with cross-functional teams to amplify content reach and engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: 
    • Monitor the performance of content initiatives using relevant metrics and analytics tools. 
    • Continuously optimize content strategies based on insights to improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness.
  • Brand Alignment and Messaging Consistency: 
    • Ensure alignment of content with the brand voice, messaging guidelines, and overall brand strategy. 
    • Maintain consistency in messaging across all content touchpoints.
  • Content Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment: 
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, sales, and customer success, to ensure content supports overall business objectives and aligns with cross-functional initiatives.
  • Content Governance and Compliance: 
    • Establish content governance standards and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 
    • Maintain an organized content repository for easy access and reference.
  • Thought Leadership and Industry Influence: 
    • Work to position the company and its executives as thought leaders in the industry through thought-provoking content, industry insights, and participation in relevant events, webinars, and speaking engagements.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: 
    • Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance content marketing effectiveness.


  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing or related roles at a B2B company.
  • Over 3 years of experience in SaaS or payments industry, with a preference for experience in payments and an understanding of ISVs/developers and merchants.
  • Experience working on small marketing teams with under 10 members, demonstrating the ability to work as an independent contributor.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience in the following areas: content strategy and planning, content creation and management, SEO best practices, content marketing, digital media trends, project management, and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for managing and updating web content.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with tools (e.g., SEMRush, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
  • Experience with email marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp) for creating and analyzing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot Marketing Automation, Pardot) for automating marketing workflows.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) for scheduling posts and analyzing performance.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Figma) for creating visually appealing content.
  • Ability to analyze content performance metrics and interpret data to measure content effectiveness and optimize strategy.

The base salary range for this role is $95k - 110k/year plus benefits.  Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: education, experience, skills and qualifications.
