Business Development Representative

 

 

We are seeking business development representatives who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are looking to jump-start their career in technology sales. While PayJunction has been growing steadily for nearly 20 years, our inside sales team is relatively new, so we are looking for people who are eager to bring curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm to the floor each day. Since our founding in 2000, PayJunction has always prioritized long-term relationships over short-term profit. PayJunction’s business development representatives serve as the first point of contact with future clients, a crucial step in forming the long-lasting relationships we strive for.

This is a full-time, in-house position in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Outbound prospecting through email and outbound calls.
  • Maintain a call volume of 60 calls per day.
  • Use email marketing to generate leads as well as manage inbound leads.
  • Use our sales stack, including Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach to properly manage and prospect accounts.
  • Become an expert on our product and services to effectively demonstrate our value proposition.

Skills & Requirements

  • Desire and ability to learn the tools and skills necessary to succeed in the business development representative role.
  • Ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Naturally competitive nature with a hunger for a career in sales.
  • Willingness to implement and give feedback.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • "Roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and desire to be a team-player. 
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Individuals with diverse career experience in sales and hospitality are encouraged to apply.
